I’m leaving Paazl…
But I’m not really gone.
Dear network,
I would like to let you know that as of January 2021 I will resign as director at Paazl. After 12 years fun, blood, sweat and tears, I believe it is time for a new challenge outside Paazl. What that is, I cannot say yet.
I look back with pride on what we have achieved as a team. In 2008 we set ourselves the goal of making delivery easier for online consumers and (international) brands & retailers. I believe we have succeeded. Everything we make at Paazl, we build with that vision in mind. From choosing a delivery option with the Paazl Check-out Widget to printing a shipping label in a customer’s warehouse. For each of these parts Paazl has conceived and developed amazing products. This has given us a solid position in the last-mile domain. A decisive link that can make or break the success of e-commerce.
Of course, saying goodbye is bittersweet. On the one hand it isn’t easy because I’m leaving an amazing team and product behind, but on the other hand I’m leaving with a smile because Paazl is rock solid and I’ll have time to look to the future with an open mind.
But, I won’t leave completely. I will remain involved as an active shareholder and in that role I will continue to dedicate myself to Paazl. But more from the sidelines.
